Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health or Good Samaritan Society location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
Required Skills/Experience: Recent HH experience (within 2 years), OASIS proficiency, wound care experience, excellent infection control practices in the home environment.
Shift & Scheduling:
• Monday-Friday (rotating weekends and holidays); One weekend on call per month, one evening on call per week
• Weekend Requirements: Yes. Typically every 4th or 5th weekend rotation and on-call.
• Holiday Requirements: Yes. Typically up to two holidays per year.
Floating Requirements: All nurses will work HH and hospice. Primary hospice patients would typically not be assigned to a travel nurse but the travel nurse may have to see a hospice patient on call and we can teach that protocol.
