Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility is a teaching facility.
At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you are applying to.
Required Skills/Experience:
- One year of MedSurg experience.
Required Credentials:
- You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests:
- Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
- Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
- Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Unit Details:
- ED/MedSurg swing role.
- Patient ratios: 1 to 4 acute, 1 to 6 swing bed, ED is 1 to 4.
- RNs are required to titrate drips.
- RT equipment includes NEBS, O2 nasal and mask; the unit has a vent used only in the ED and for transport to another facility; CPAP may be used if a swing bed patient brings it in.
- Tele is used on the unit, and ED nurses read strips.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend.
- Every other holiday.
- Call/standby requirement: flex time.
Floating Requirements:
- Will float to ED holds if needed; may also work charge.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
