Preferred Skills/Experience:
Med/surg experience preferred.
2 years of experience preferred.
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required.
Oncology skills helpful, but not necessary.

Block scheduling will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Unit Details:
The facility is described as a Level III trauma center in one section and listed as Trauma Level II in the unit profile.
Patient population is adults 18 years of age and older.
Common diagnoses/treatments include cirrhosis, sepsis, pneumonia, respiratory illnesses, wounds, and CHF.
Equipment includes a VS machine, bladder scanner, IV pumps, thermal imaging, lifts, and tube feeding pumps.
Shift & Scheduling:
Policy recommends all staff work at least 2 weekend shifts per month.
Floating Requirements:
Floating is based on facility needs.
