Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Floating experience does not count toward experience requirement.
• Correctional facility experience does not count toward experience requirement.
• Must have at least two years of ER experience with Trauma Level I and II accumulative experience in the past two to three years. If only Level III or lower, cannot accept.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Gun Shot Wound and Stabbing experience is a bonus.

Special Requests:

• If you require an interview with the manager, please make a note of it in your special requests.
• Travel pairs cannot request the same schedule.
• Cannot have an employment gap in the past 4+ months.
• Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained.
• At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Shift & Scheduling:

• 36-hour guarantees only (no 48s) – can pick up additional shifts.
• Varied shift start times: 7,10,11,12,1,3. Modified self-scheduling.
• 4 weekend shifts per 4-week block.
• Typically 2 of the 5 holidays required, including holiday eves.

Floating Requirements:

• Shared schedule with Onvida Main campus; typically scheduled ahead of time, with infrequent last-minute floating. 15-minute drive to Main campus ER.
