Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: Must be able to read/verify rhythm strips. Proficient with lab draws and peripheral IV starts required. Must have experience with ventilators, sedation, and titrating vasoactive drips/pressors
Preferred Skills/Experience: 3 years strongly preferred Neuro background preferred Experience with Impella, CRRT, and cardiac surgery patients preferred 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
Required Credentials: Must pass EKG Exam at Orientation. Copy of nursing diploma required.
Preferred Credentials: RN-BC Registered Nurse - Board Certified Critical Care Course
Unit/Facility Details: High-Acuity Intensive Care Patient Population: Sepsis, CVA, pneumonia, ARDS, respiratory failure, heart failure, renal failure, overdose, CIWA, and mixed critical care population (predominantly older adults). Skill Sets: Mechanical ventilation and sedation management required. Titrating vasoactive drips/pressors required
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend/major holiday required.
