Unit/Facility Details: The labs perform multiple invasive cardiac and peripheral procedures in the adult population including diagnostic and interventional cardiac and peripheral catheterizations, stent implants, IABP, Impella, EKOS, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, Penumbra, Pericardiocentesis, Shockwave, and IVC filters. All TEEs and Cardioversions are also performed in the department. We perform TAVRs and MitraClips in conjunction with the hybrid OR. The most frequent medical diagnoses include Coronary Artery Disease, Myocardial Infarction, Unstable Angina, Aortic/Mitral Valve Disease, and Peripheral Vascular Disease.
Shift & Scheduling: Call required. 6-9 days of call per month 36-hours, 4-9 hour days, with 24-hour on-call. M-F call is from 5:15 pm - 7 am, weekend call is 24 hours each day
Floating Requirements: Float to Milford Campus as needed
