Travel Nurse (RN) - Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

• Critical Care or PACU experience required.
• Level I Trauma experience and ICU background required.
• Teaching hospital experience is required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• SICU, MICU, and CTICU experience preferred.
• Previous Charge Experience: Preferred
• Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests:

• RTO is due at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted.

Unit Details:

• Adolescent, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient population.
• Post-surgical and post-procedural patient population.
• Craniotomies, liver transplant, kidney transplant, GYN procedures including D&E's, urological, ENT, dental, general surgery, GI, cataracts, enucleation, vascular, cardiac cath procedures including afib ablation, interventional radiology procedures, GI procedures including colonoscopy, endo, ERCP, Level 1 trauma cases including gunshot wounds, stabbings, and MVAs, and breast surgery/reconstruction.
• Uses Aecis Surgi Net.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Call required: 2 8-hour weeknight on-call shifts and 1 12 hour weekend on-call shift per 6-week schedule. 1 summer and 1 winter on-call shift.

Floating Requirements:

• Daily SPU/PACU floating; possible float if needed to the Tabor GI or Pain Center.
