Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: MBSS, dysphagia, cognitive assessment and treatment, and stroke rehab required.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Vital Stim, FEES, and TBI experience preferred.
Unit Details: Inpatient rehabilitation setting. SLP caseload depends on referrals: 6 to 8 patients per day with 30 to 45 minute sessions. Common procedures include bedside swallow exams and MBSS. Uses Vital Stim, Bioness, PneuVest, and BITS visual and cognitive program.
Shift & Scheduling: Weekend and on-call coverage may include urgent swallow or diet concern evaluations, rarely.
