Travel Nurse (RN) - Nurse Management

Individual Professional Liability coverage is mandatory for assignment duration (Only individual malpractice insurance is accepted by the facility).

Clinician must complete Additional skills section of resume with detailed description of patient pops and procedures worked for each work history.

Required Skills/Experience: Seven (7) years of experience is required, five (5) of which were in a supervisory role. Emergency Room experience and DON experience required.

Required Credentials: Must have NYS Nursing License Registration and NYS Copy of Physical License/Diploma for submission. Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accreditated Nursing Program.

Preferred Credentials: Masters degree in Nursing.

Special Requests: All time off and special requests should be discussed directly with managers upon arrival (no pre-approval). Clinicians must start assignments within 30 days of receiving an offer.

Unit Details: Plans and develops programs to improve patient care and employee performance. Monitors patient care performance, assesses units with nurse managers, assists with corrective action, and develops record-keeping systems for medication errors/counselling. Director of Nursing oversight of the Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department.

Shift & Scheduling: No call. Overtime not allowed at NYCHH facilities (requires written manager approval in rare cases).
