You must be willing to float, work weekends, and generally just be very flexible. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred.
Unit Details: Adult burn and plastic surgery patient population, including burn patients with 0-100% TBSA burns. Wound debridement and skin grafts. Patients may have pain, surgical dressings, and significant mobility and positioning needs to prevent contractures and scarring. Up to 8 patients a day on the unit, with 8 being the higher census during cooler months and as few as 2. Outpatient therapy support with evals and therapy if time allows.
Shift & Scheduling: Must work Saturday and Sunday in the burn unit and can pick up 3 other shifts between Monday - Friday.
Floating Requirements: Must be able to float to inpatient acute care.
