Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Solid experience in PICU, and some CV ICU or cardiac step down or general cardiac experience required.
• Basic arrhythmia experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• NICU experience preferred.
• General PICU float experience preferred.
• Teaching hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details:

• Family-centered care for critically ill or injured children and their families.
• Provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide variety of medical and surgical problems, including acute head injuries, critical neurological disorders, pulmonary diseases, cardiac anomalies, organ transplantation, multisystem organ failure, and ECMO.
• Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
• High-acuity units.
• Level I trauma center.
• Ratios: ICUs 1:1-2; IMC 1:2-3; Gen care 1:3-4.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required.

Floating Requirements:

• Float position.
• May float to all AFCH inpatient units, including general population units.
• Travelers float first and may have shifts scheduled in multiple units or different locations based on staffing needs.
• If the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts may be reassigned to another unit to complete the contract.
