Required Skills/Experience:
Seeking a Level IV-trained Labor & Delivery nurse.
Must be familiar with magnesium and insulin drips.
Required Credentials:
Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license.
Special Requests:
Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.
In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.
Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 1:1 in active labor and two patients in early, latent labor.
The assignment includes charge nurse responsibilities in both L&D and the high-risk unit and baby nurse duties for deliveries.
Shift & Scheduling:
The schedule includes every third weekend and holiday rotation.
Floating Requirements:
Floating to Carmel L&D (13500 N. Meridian St., Carmel, IN 46032) is possible if needed.
