Travel Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Unit

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have Med-Surg/inpatient rehab experience.
• 1+ year of nursing experience in skilled nursing or other 24/7 skilled care environment.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Med-Surg or inpatient rehabilitation experience related to patient acuity preferred.

Unit Details:

• Adult patients requiring inpatient rehabilitation services with high-acuity needs, including stroke, brain and spinal cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries, and other conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitative services.
• Unit can be high acuity at times and functions very similarly to a medical-surgical unit.
• All nurses are required to help CNAs and answer call lights for patient safety.
• Uses ceiling lifts, Sara Stedy, Sara Plus, slide boards, vital sign machines, EKG machine, BGM, and computers for charting.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend and holiday rotations.
• On-call required.

Floating Requirements:

• No floating currently; may be required to float to a satellite IRF facility within 20 minutes in the near future.
