Travel Nurse (RN) - Neurologic Intensive Care Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU background with strong assessment skills in Neuro Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring would be needed.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience as Neuro Interventionalist a plus .

Unit/Facility Details: Neuro unit with Neuro population from our Med/Surg ICU, this would include Stroke, TBI, Head injury, and Neurosurgery patients. During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination is required to wear a mask at all times. This is an Aspirus policy, and compliance is mandatory (No exceptions). Failure to follow the policy may result in corrective action.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Every other weekend Every other holiday. On Call/Call Back Requirements: none. Contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours - can be low censused in hour increments as needed. Unit will typically low census in 4 hr increments and could ask for a traveler to work only 4 or 8 hrs of the shift. This is not considered to be on call.

Floating Requirements: Will float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and MSICU units- possible float to other critical care units and other inpatient units as needed.
