Required Skills/Experience:
Minimum 2-3 years of Staff RN experience in a dedicated CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
Previous travel experience is required, but candidates without previous travel experience will be considered if they have 2-4 years' experience and Epic experience.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
VAD (ventricular assist device) experience preferred.
Preferred Credentials:
BSN preferred. Will consider ASN with 3 years provided the candidate has extensive experience in pediatric cardiac critical care.
Special Requests:
RTO blackout dates are 11/25-11/27, 12/23-12/26, and 12/30-1/2.
No RTO will be approved during the first two weeks of the assignment.
Unit Details:
The Level Three CICU provides pediatric open-heart care.
Shift & Scheduling:
Total RTO is limited to 4 days or less.
Clinicians must be available to work 2 of the 3 holidays.
Rotating day/night shifts run from 6:45 PM-7:15 AM, with rotations based on unit needs.
Straight nights from 6:45 PM-7:15 AM will also be considered.
Up to 75% of scheduled shifts may be on weekends.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Clinicians may be floated within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed.
The client may float or reassign clinicians to other areas of practice within their clinical competency to fulfill scheduled hours.
