Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Experience from a 30-bed or greater PICU.
  • 2 years of CVPICU or PICU experience required; 2 years of experience in a pediatric hospital.
  • Candidates with PICU-only experience may be considered if all other requirements are met.

Unit Details:

  • Neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient population.
  • Patient population includes congenital heart disease, pre- and post-surgical patients, heart failure, heart and lung transplants, and pulmonary hypertension.
  • Unit cares for patients with ECMO, mechanical support (VADs), CRRT, ventilators, RA lines, pacemaker wires, and chest tubes. Travelers will not be responsible for running the ECMO circuit and will not be expected to care for CRRT patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements:

  • Will float to PCU, NICU, PICU, ED, stepdown, and MS as needed. Must be willing to comply with facility float expectations. Will be given an appropriate assignment in these areas.

Details:

AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
