A badge photo for facility ID must be provided for submission.
All travelers report to Geneva General Hospital for orientation.
Phone prescreen must be completed by clinician in order to receive offer. Please be aware to answer calls from 520 area code.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in long-term care.
- Supervisory experience across multiple units required.
- Familiarity with NYSDOH requirements.
Required Credentials:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing.
Special Requests:
- RTO must be submitted with application for approval.
- Holiday RTO is not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
- Oversees nursing-unit operations and provides clinical supervision to staff across multiple nursing units.
- Provides teaching and supervision to support quality resident care.
- Contacts the Director of Nursing during off-hours only for critical issues requiring resolution and leaves appropriate communication at work for all other items.
- May make administrative decisions during off-shift and weekend periods in the absence of the Director of Nursing and the Administrator - LTC, within the identified scope of responsibility.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Part-time schedule with every other weekend and holiday coverage required.
Floating Requirements:
- Must be willing to float at Finger Lakes Health facilities only.
