Travel Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:
Experience with OR case types including general, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, da Vinci robotics, and trauma is required; transplant experience is not required.

Special Requests:
RTO requires advance manager approval.

Unit Details:
Average of 45 cases per day between OR and CVOR.
Case mix includes everything except transplants, including general, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, podiatry, orthopedics, neurology, vascular, thoracic, da Vinci robotics, and trauma cases.
Equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, a cell saver, Belmont rapid infuser, glucometer, and da Vinci robotics.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend shifts: 2 12-hour shifts, 645-715; weekday shifts: 2 8-hour shifts.
Weekend shifts are required for needs posted as weekends.
On-call: 1 day per week (Monday-Friday) and 1 weekend every 4 weeks (Saturday/Sunday).
Holiday expectation: About 50%, could be more based on need.
Shift patterns include 0645 starts for 8s, 10s, or 12s, a mid shift from 0900-1930, and nights from 1830-0700.
Schedules are issued in 4-week increments, with 8 weeks provided at a time about 2 weeks in advance.
