Travel Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

Required Skills/Experience:
CVOR, neuro, and robotics experience are not required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Proficient scrubbing is preferred; total-joint scrubbing is not required.

Required Credentials:
If you have a multistate/compact nursing license, you will be required to complete a one time 6 hour suicide prevention training according to the WA state regulations.

Cannot have any hits/suspensions on license or any background hits from any point in the past.

Special Requests:
RTO must be listed at time of submission.

All positions at Providence Health & Services require that any and all lab items requested during onboarding be completed within 72 hours of signing a contract - no exceptions. This means candidates must be responsive and willing to go to a lab to complete health orders ASAP after signing. Failure to comply may lead to a pushed start or cancellation as assessed by the facility.

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

All previous permanent employees of any Providence-affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 3 months to qualify for a travel position.

Unit Details:
Circulating cases include ENT, general surgery, total joints, neuro/spine, OB/GYN, orthopedics, plastics, post-op, and pre-op. Scrubbing cases include vascular.

Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population; 40% inpatient and 60% ambulatory/outpatient; standard community hospital surgical cases.

Shift & Scheduling:
Call is required. In a six-week on-call period, there will be 6-7 8-hour shifts to cover; call shifts are covered by a sign-up rotation. Monday through Friday call starts at 21:30 and ends at 7am. Weekends are currently all call.

Flexible shift lengths: 8/10/12 hours. Available start times: 7am, 9am, 11am, and 3pm.
