Travel Allied (Sonographer) - Pediatric Cardiac Sonography

Required Skills/Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years of experience as a certified or registered cardiovascular or radiologic technology professional in the specialty required by the hiring department.

Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, positioning of patients, and medical ethics.

Required Credentials: Graduate of a CAAHEP accredited educational program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular or radiologic specialty as defined by the ARDMS, ARRT and/or CCI.

One of the following Cardiovascular or Radiologic certification through ARRT, CCI or ARDMS: --ARDMS -Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) -Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) --CCI -Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) -Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES) -Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) --ARRT -Radiography (R) -Computed Tomography (CT) -Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) -Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiography (CI) -Sonography (S) -Vascular Sonography (VS)

Unit/Facility Details: May be required to perform fetal echoes.

Shift & Scheduling: 3 days of call a month required - Fri/Sat/1 weeknight or 2 weeknights/Sunday.

Floating Requirements: May be scheduled at an outpatient clinic off site from main campus. Will cover procedures in the OR/CCL.
