Required Skills/Experience: Must be comfortable titrating and managing cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior neuro experience preferred.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.
Special Requests: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. All time off requests need to be submitted prior to starting assignment.
Unit Details: PCU/IMC float pool covers General, Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Rehab, Renal, Bariatrics, Ortho, Trauma, and ED Observation specialties. Adult to geriatric patient population including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, renal, urology post-surgical, general surgery post-appendectomy, gynecology, psych/detox, ENT, general medicine, and stable long-term placement patients. Common titratable and/or set-rate drips include dopamine, dobutamine, cardizem, amio, ativan, insulin, and heparin.
Shift & Scheduling: 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. May be asked to participate in the holiday rotation. Rare standby for low census.
Floating Requirements: May be asked to float into other acuity levels including ICU for low-acuity holds within skillset, PCU/Stepdown, and MS-Tele.
