Required Skills/Experience:
The following skills are required: CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, DM, blood product administration, BiPAP, CVA overflow, post-cath patients, DKA, vascular, abdominal, and GI surgical patients; chest tubes, wound vacs, dressing changes, monitoring femoral arterial sheaths, high flow, post-TCAR, femoral endarterectomy, and arterial lines.
If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

You can only have 1 active application for the same position (same unit & shift at the same facility). Example: if you apply for day shift, you can also apply for night shift on the same unit and facility, but you cannot apply for another day shift position on the same unit & facility.
Unit Details:
Patient types include CHF, respiratory distress, ACS, A-fib RVR, diabetes mellitus, CVA overflow, post-cath patients, DKA, and some vascular, abdominal, and GI surgical patients.
Unit care includes blood product administration and respiratory support with BiPAP and high flow.
Post-cath patients will involve TR bands and the femoral approach; travelers can see femoral sheaths but will not pull them.
Common drips include diltiazem, amiodarone, Lasix, nitro, and heparin.
Patient ratios are 4:1 during the day and 4-5:1 at night.
Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week available.
Shift times are 1900-0730 or 0700-1930.
Weekend rotation is every other weekend.
No call.
Floating Requirements:
Floating is to PCU-level units or below throughout the hospital.
If an ACU/PCU-level nurse floats to ICU, the nurse would take vascular and DKA patients with a maximum ratio of 1:3.
