Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding. Day 1 pass/fail SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Travel teams must have their own vehicles.
Unit Details: Trauma, orthopedic, and surgical telemetry unit with a large amount of transplant and Whipple post-op patients; also cares for spine, orthopedic joints, and trauma patients. Uses Philips telemetry; BiPAP and CPAP on unit.
Shift & Scheduling: 4 total weekend shifts per 4 weeks. Holidays based on unit coverage and worked into the permanent staff rotation.
Floating Requirements: Floating to Observation, VMU, T6, T5, 6N, 5N Med-Surg, and all Med-Surg and Tele units.
