References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Required Skills/Experience: 1 year of experience within the past 3 years must be within a Skilled Nursing Facility.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Geri psych or LTC psych experience preferred.
Required Credentials: Dementia testing will be required prior to start.
Special Requests: Must take full 6 months off from any Sanford Health and Marshfield Clinic Health System location as well. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Geri LTC psych facility. Elder population including dementia; behavioral program with some patients with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and paranoia. Med aide support from 6-10; 1 nurse from 10-6. Most skilled and COVID charting is done on the day shift. Overnight ratio approximately 1:45; day approximately 1:23.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Holidays required if they fall within your block schedule while on contract. No call or call back available. 12 hour block scheduling. Flexible contract hours: 36/48 hours rotating per two weeks.
