Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.
Required Skills/Experience: Scrub experience required. 2+ years in cardiac and vascular. Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing. General OR, thoracic, and vascular required. CVOR procedures required: CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, etc. Aseptic technique required. Crash cart, scrub and circulate, and equipment documentation required.
Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population.
Shift & Scheduling: Schedule consists of two (2) 8-hour shifts and two (2) 12-hour shifts. Shifts may occur anytime between 6:30 a.m. and 11:00 p.m., based on staffing needs. Weekend rotation is distributed equitably among staff members. Call duties will be included as part of the contract. Call hours are distributed equitably among staff members and will vary with each schedule.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.
