References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience: Adult Critical Care and Emergency Department work setting experience. Airway management/suctioning: Endotracheal tube suctioning, extubation, intubation assist, nasal airway placement, nasal airway suctioning, oral airway placement, oropharyngeal suctioning, sputum specimen collection, tracheostomy suctioning. Nebulizer skills: Hand held, T-Piece, Trach collar. Oxygen therapy skills: Bag and mask, ET Tube, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), T-Piece, Trach Collar, Venturi Masks. Ventilator management skills: BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience, community hospital experience, and Trauma Level I experience preferred.
Special Requests: Discuss schedule requests with manager. Ideally no more than 5 days of RTO. Allied clinicians that do not require a state license in hand must arrive 3 days prior to start for fingerprints.
Unit Details: Adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient population. Bedside bronchs. Approximate caseload: 20 on days; 14 on nights and weekends. Parking Cost: parking permit required, no cost. Will fill out form during orientation.
Shift & Scheduling: 3x12 nights or 4x12s. Every other weekend. On-call as needed for the department.
