Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on driver's license.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates need to have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position.

Required Credentials: Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80%; only 2 attempts permitted. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.

Unit Details: Nurse:patient ratios by shift: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU status, 1:3 for stepdown/non-ICU in overflow unit. Congenital heart disease/defects, post-surgical repair, heart failure, arrhythmias, transplant, VAD. Age range: neonatal through young adult; occasional adult congenital heart disease patients.
