Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Credentials: Pass/fail open-book RN exam during orientation on Wednesday; minimum score 90% required or contract will be terminated.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Block scheduling is generally not approved; weekend-only block scheduling may be considered. Travel pairs requesting the same schedule or a shared car are not accepted. RTO must be submitted upfront; maximum 7 days per 13 week contract. Additional RTO will not be approved after submission.

Unit Details: Adult ICU patients include trauma, cardiac, overdose/substance abuse, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker placement, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress. RNs are required to titrate drips including cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation. RNs read, interpret, and document telemetry strips; monitor brand is GE with tele tech oversight. Cares for patients requiring respiratory support from nasal cannula to ventilator.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Minimum of 2 holidays that fall within the contract time frame. Self-scheduling is for core staff; travelers are added into the schedule. If placed on call and called back in, must arrive within 30 minutes.

Floating Requirements: Typically floats to PCU and occasionally MedSurg, usually with the same patient ratios on those units (1:4 or 1:5).
