Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit

Required Credentials:

• Traveler will be responsible for self-studying telemetry strips upon acceptance, and a basic dysrhythmia test out will be given the first week of assignment. This must be passed in order to work on the telemetry/med surg unit.

Unit Details:

• Patient population includes geriatric and adult patients.
• Telemetry ratios are 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights.
• Proof of Identification: Driver's License / State ID

Shift & Scheduling:

• Not part of a regular call rotation, but may occasionally be placed on call during periods of low census. If called in, must be able to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.

Floating Requirements:

• May be required to float to the West Burlington or Henry County campus at times.
• Floating to ACU is required for non-critical care inpatient units, including to the Emergency Department if there are boarded patients.
