Preferred Skills/Experience:
GI and/or pulmonary experience preferred.
Unit Details:
In-basket management and phone triage role; not an in-person, patient-facing position.
Responsibilities include phone triage for GI and pulmonary diagnoses, medication refills, and provider paperwork requests for established clinic patients.
Pediatric population includes children and adolescents up to 18 years old.
Covers GI and pulmonary subspecialties.
Common GI diagnoses include constipation, reflux, hyperemesis, EOE, IBD, Crohn's disease, celiac disease, and blood in stool.
Common pulmonary diagnoses include asthma, bronchiolitis, ventilator/tracheostomy patients, and cystic fibrosis.
Uses a laptop and Microsoft Teams.
Shift & Scheduling:
No weekend rotation.
Clinic closed for holidays.
No call.
