Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Skills/Experience:
First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years' experience, Cerner or Epic experience, and Level I or II trauma experience. Will also consider candidates with 3+ years of Level III trauma experience at a 300+ bed facility.
Experienced travelers must have at least 2 years of critical care experience (ICU, ER) with the most recent year in a Level I or II ER.
Trach care, vent care, ICU drip care and maintenance, chest tube, art line, CVL, PICC, midline, port, Foley, splint/ortho device application and care, BiPAP/high-flow, and continuous bladder irrigation.

Unit Details:
Patient population includes multi-system trauma (Level I), STEMI, stroke, CHF, COPD, GI, GU, OB/GYN, pediatric, and psychiatric patients; receives several transfers from other facilities.
Patient ratios: 1:4 ER, 1:5 MS holds, 1:3 ICU holds.
Support includes CNA ratio 1:12, receptionist/HUC, charge nurse, phlebotomy up to 0300, IV/VAT team, and hospitalist coverage; no telemetry monitoring tech.
Uses Plum 360 IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Spacelabs monitors.

Shift & Scheduling:
Weekend rotation: every other weekend, or 4 weekend days per month if on block schedule.
No call.
One major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy.
Schedule cycle: 4 weeks.

Special Requests:
Only 1 active application allowed for the same position (same unit and shift at the same facility). You may apply to both day shift and night shift on the same unit and facility, but not to another position with the same shift on the same unit and facility.
Up to 7 days off may be approved, excluding blackout dates.
Holiday time off is not guaranteed prior to arrival.
2026 blackout dates: Halloween 10/30-11/2; Thanksgiving 11/26-30; Christmas and New Year's 12/21-1/1.
