Required Skills/Experience:
- Must have general experience.
- A minimum of 2 years OR RN experience with recent experience and high competency in cardiovascular/open heart OR.
Special Requests:
- Assignment length may vary: 16-26 weeks.
- Any employment gaps over 90 days must be explained.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Schedule may include Monday to Sunday.
- One/two 12 weekday calls - 1900-0715, usually only one during the week unless short staffed.
- One full weekend of call every 5 weeks.
- Must be flexible with schedule to meet the needs of the unit and patient care.
- Must work 2 of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Years Day.
Floating Requirements:
- May be required to float to other OR suites (general, ortho, neuro, ENT, etc.); if floated, you will be circulating, but not required to scrub.
Details:
• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear "Yes" or "No" response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
