Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician's claimed residence must match address on driver's license. Driver's license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Required Credentials:

  • Ascension Pharmacology 1 or 2 exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
  • Ascension Medical Surgical exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.
  • Ascension Core Competencies required prior to start; minimum 80% or national benchmark passing score; only 2 attempts allowed.
  • Ascension EKG exam required prior to start; minimum 80% score; only 2 attempts allowed.

Special Requests:

  • Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles.
  • Candidates must have at least 6 months of employment separation to be considered for a travel position.

Unit Details:

  • Progressive cardiac care with medical, cardiac, pre/post CV surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week for 12-hour schedules.
