Travel Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Flu Clinic

Required Skills/Experience:

• Infectious Diseases
• Experienced in administrating intramuscular injections to adults

Preferred Skills/Experience: Recent experience at a teaching facility and recent travel experience preferred.

Unit/Facility Details: The role for a RN is a traveling role to support the Texas Children's Flu Program throughout the Houston area.

Special Requests:

• No artificial/gel/powder nails are allowed per TCH’s policy.
• If you were previously perm staff at TCH, you must wait 6 months before applying for a traveler position (but this timeline may vary slightly depending on the unit.)
• Parking: Paid parking options available on site. MetroRail transportation available if preferred.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Events can vary from days, nights, evening, weekends, and stationary flu carts (high volume and fast paced).
• The beginning of the events can be as early as 5 am and nights are from 4:30 pm -1 am (support night shift employees).
