Travel Nurse (RN) - Rehabilitation Unit

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience:
Rehabilitation knowledge is required.
A medical-surgical background is accepted as an alternative to medical-surgical rehabilitation experience.

Required Credentials:
Associate degree or certificate is required.

Unit Details:
Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac cases.
Patient ratios are 1:4-1:6 on PM shift and 1:8 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling:
Variable 12-hour shifts may be 6am-630pm or 6p-630a.
Weekend and holiday rotation is every other.
Flexible contract hours: set weekly hours are not guaranteed during orientation week or when the unit is closed for holidays.
The contract is eligible for 36 hours of low census; low census may occur in hour increments as needed, typically in 4 hr increments, and a traveler may be asked to work only 4 or 8 hrs of a shift.
No call.

Floating Requirements:
Float to all inpatient units as needed.
