Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Operating Room

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Ortho, Neuro, and Spine experience required. Must be comfortable with complex spine and neuro cases, crani cases for call, and totals.

Preferred Skills/Experience: General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, and GI experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Graduate of a certified surgical technologist program required.

Special Requests: Must have your own vehicle and cannot rely on Uber/Lyft due to on-call responsibilities.

Unit Details: Efficient in setting up an operative suite for patients, reviewing case carts to ensure all supplies are available, scrubbing surgical cases across a variety of specialties, and turning over rooms for multiple procedures throughout the day.

Shift & Scheduling: Variable day shifts. Weekends for call only. Holidays required as needed. On-call 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract. 30 min response time; traveler must be ready and in the OR within that 30 min.

Floating Requirements: May be required to float to Aspirus Merrill, Antigo, Medford, or Stanley if needed.
