Required Skills/Experience:
Pre-op, Phase 2, infusion, or PAT experience required.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Endoscopy experience preferred.
Unit Details:
Work areas include pre-op, Phase 2, preadmission testing, and an infusion center.
Patient ratios vary by area: pre-op 1:1, Phase 2 3-5:1, and infusion 5:1.
Assist anesthesia with blocks.
The unit is extremely busy, with approachable surgeons and anesthesiologists.
Shift & Scheduling:
Shift lengths may be 8, 10, or 12 hours.
Unit operates from 0500-2100.
Call is required on a variable schedule.
Every other weekend and holidays are worked in rotation with hospital employees.
