Travel Allied (Surgical Tech) - Cardiovascular Operating Room

Additional Details:

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Required Skills/Experience: Types of cases required: CV, heart/lung transplant. First-time travelers not accepted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred. Endovascular procedures a plus.

Special Requests: IU Health will not allow IN RNs to work at their facilities. Exceptions include: Periop/OR RNs, allied, and ambulatory RN travelers are exempt from this rule. Periop includes ENDO, IR RN, PACU, Cath Lab RN, SDS.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Vascular experience not needed.

Shift & Scheduling: 1 full weekend within a 6 week call schedule. On-call required: Approx 110. Must work 2/3 major holidays. Flexible contract hours: 8 and 10 hr. shifts - 40 hrs. in one workweek. 3, 12 hr shifts - 36 hrs. in one workweek. 4, 12 hr. shifts - 48 hrs. in one workweek.
