Additional Details:
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Preceptor and charge experience preferred.
Special Requests:
- No block schedule requests, 48 hour can be considered but not guaranteed.
Unit Details:
- Adult/geriatric patient population.
- Total joint patients; surgical patients; ACS; patients with acute-on-chronic medical conditions like CHF and CKD; alcohol withdrawal; SIRS; GIB.
- Uses Baxter IV pumps, Posey bed/chair alarms, Omnicel drug dispensing cabinets, and Zoll defibrillators.
Shift & Scheduling:
- 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule period.
- Call requirements: none; scheduled shifts may be flexed to an on-call shift as needed up to twice during the contract.
Floating Requirements:
- Floating to IMC and ED within the hospital is expected.
