Additional Details:

Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility. References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have 2.5 years ED and be from a bigger urban hospital setting.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Trauma experience preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. The facility may make one off exceptions if previously employed at the facility, but exceptions must be approved by St. Luke’s Health System.

Unit Details: Uses Epic. Adult and pediatric ER population including stroke, STEMI, trauma, abdominal pain, and many high acuity ESI level I patients; will stabilize and ship out pediatrics. Travelers are not triaging. Common drips: Nicardipine, Propofol, Fentanyl, Norepi, Nitro, Versed, Precedex, etc. RNs must read and interpret SpaceLabs cardiac monitors.

Shift & Scheduling: 12 hour shifts, 0730-2000, 10-2230, 1130-MN, 1330-0200, 1530-04, 1930-08- may have a mix of these shifts (if working AM shifts may mix AM start times, if working PM shifts may mix PM start times. Will never have you work a late shift and then come back for an early shift). Will be scheduled where there is a need. Minimum 4 Saturday/Sundays in 6 weeks (2 weekends total). Holidays as needed. No call.

Floating Requirements: First to float. Rarely float but may float to Boise Medical Center or Nampa Medical Center to their ERs.
