Travel Allied (Telemetry Technician) - Monitor

Required Credentials:
Graduation from one of the following accredited programs, including EKG interpretation.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
3 years of experience preferred.

Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Cannot have another job while on assignment.

Unit Details:
Performs remote surveillance for multiple locations, focusing on cardiopulmonary rhythms, from a central monitoring station.
Recognizes, records, and reports potentially dangerous rhythm changes and arrhythmias to local RN staff.
Monitors 45-60 patients virtually.
Uses GE and Ascom monitor equipment.
Opportunity to cross-train to Virtual Patient Companion or Clinical Connection Specialist roles.
A strict no-cell-phone policy applies; the hospital provides a work phone number for travelers to share.

Shift & Scheduling:
Shift times are 0700-1930 and 1900-0730.
No set schedules.
Must work 4 weekend shifts during a schedule; for day shifts, weekends are Saturday and Sunday. This may be every other weekend or every Saturday during a 4-week period.
Holidays as needed.
No call or standby requirement, but call or standby can occur if the census drops and someone is on low census.
