Travel Nurse (RN) - Medical Surgical Unit

Unit Details:
Patient ratios are 4:1 for total patient care and 5:1 with a patient care tech.
Common equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, CADD epidural, Alaris PCA, Pyxis medication dispensing machine, telemetry, EKG, bladder scanner, wound vacs, Capnostream machines, and SCD pumps.
Unit procedures include ostomy management, ostomy irrigation, NGT placement and management, Foley catheter placement and maintenance, central line management, JP drains, wound management, IV starts, blood administration, and nutritional supplementation including but not limited to TPN and G/J tubes.
The unit is high-paced.

Shift & Scheduling:
Flexible contract hours: 48 per week preferred.
Every 3rd weekend, two Mondays and Fridays per 4-week scheduling period.

Floating Requirements:
Floating includes medical/surgical/telemetry units, including Ortho Neuro Center, Med/Tele, 4N, and CDU.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
