Travel Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must have 5+ years experience and at least 1 travel assignment.

Required Credentials:

• ASLS or NIHSS.

Special Requests:

• At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job being applied to.

Unit Details:

• Includes a behavioral lock-down area staffed by psych; patients may be held in the main ER until admitted with safety sitters as needed.
• Nurses perform their own lab draws and start their own IVs.
• Will hold ventilated patients in the ER until admitted; respiratory therapy is dedicated to the ER 24/7.
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics. Receives trauma patients; keeps some trauma, neuro, and orthopedic cases, but much of the neuro trauma is shipped out; no burns are kept; CVA/stroke patients are seen.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Every other weekend.
• Every other holiday.
