Travel Nurse (RN) - Progressive Care Unit

References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Credentials: Education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program.

Special Requests: Cannot apply to any Ohio State University facilities if you have an active application to any of the James Cancer Hospital & Research facilities.

Unit Details: Medical PCU caring for adult and geriatric patients with a wide variety of diagnoses, including renal, hepatology, cardiology, pulmonology, and adult cystic fibrosis patients. Cardiac drips, heparin, insulin drips, high-flow O2, heated high-flow O2, and may start pressors before transfer to ICU. Uses lift equipment, IV US machine, and bladder scanner. Parking Options for Travelers WMC Agency Permit – $215/month Guaranteed parking in an OSUWMC visitor garage. Best option for travelers who want the closest and most reliable parking. CXS Permit – $31.42/month Includes shuttle service every 15–30 minutes, but service is limited. The route has multiple stops and drops off about a street over from OSUWMC. Best suited for Jameson Crane Sports Medicine. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. WB Permit – $15.67/month Most affordable option. Parking is in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, about 1.7 miles from OSUWMC. The Pink shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak start/end times and goes directly to the medical center in about 8–9 minutes. Also includes access to 9th Ave Garages (East and West) on weekends and holidays. Weekend access is from Friday at 2 PM through Monday at 8 AM; outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Shift & Scheduling: Weekdays and some weekends. Rotating holidays.
