Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.
References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you're applying to.
Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility.
Required Credentials: Day 1 pass/fail Foley catheter insertion exam for OR RNs. Pass/fail SIMs Lab required for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes; maintaining sterile field is expected.
Unit Details: Uses Surginet. Approximately 7 cases per day, up to 15 cases per day. Charge nurse duties may be required. Common cases include open heart, vascular, endo, thoracic, esophageal, general, hepatobiliary, and lung, liver, and kidney transplants.
Shift & Scheduling: Monday-Friday schedule. Mandatory call 1-2 nights per week. Possible 1 weekend of 1st call per month and 1 weekend of 2nd call per month. Holidays possible if on call.
Floating Requirements: Float to General OR or BNI OR.
Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
