Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:

  • Work history/resume/employment history must have 24 months of current Sonographer and/or Vascular experience.
  • First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of ULT experience.
  • General/abdomen and non high-risk OB/GYN experience required in addition to vascular experience.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Experience assisting with fine needle aspirations, paracentesis, and thoracentesis procedures preferred.

Required Credentials:

  • ARDMS (AB) required.

Preferred Credentials:

  • ARDMS (OB/GYN) highly preferred.

Special Requests:

  • Past UPH employees who were FTE or PRN for the UPH float pool cannot work travel in another market if they currently work there or worked there within the past 12 months. This does not apply to prior travel-only UPH workers.

Unit Details:

  • General, OB/GYN, and vascular patient population.
  • Performs abdomen, small parts, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB (non high-risk) for dating, measurements, BPPs, and fetal anatomy scans, transabdominal and transvaginal gynecologic imaging, upper and lower venous doppler, lower arterial doppler, ABIs, Aorta duplex, Carotid arterial doppler, and hepatic and renal doppler imaging exams.

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Monday-Friday; start time varies between 0600 - 1000, based on staffing/cases.
  • Call coverage Monday-Friday from 9pm-6am; rotation among all day staff. Weekend call coverage as needed 630pm-6am.
  • Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed.
