Lab Completion: All health-related requirements and lab work must be completed within 5 calendar days of signing. You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing. References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Required Skills/Experience: First-time travelers accepted with experience in the patient ratio requirement. Patient ratio experience required: 1:6. Charge experience required. MS/Tele, telemetry on-unit monitoring, use of rapid response/code teams, pacemakers (temporary/permanent), feeding tube care and management, blood product administration, central line care/management, phlebotomy, peripheral line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs, heparin protocols, ortho trauma, total joint replacements, surgical drains, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac.
Special Requests: Must be more than 75 miles from the facility.
Unit Details: High-volume unit. Need to be able to take a 1:5 to 1:7 patient ratio for MedSurg. Complex care unit for medicine, ortho overflow, and complex long-term patients.
Shift & Scheduling: Day/night rotation: 0700-1900 / 1900-0700. Every other weekend.
