Travel Allied (CT Technologist) - CT

PAPR & Fit Testing Requirement: PAPR use is not guaranteed across all departments and must be flagged at submission. All applicants must be willing to shave to pass the mandatory N95 fit test to avoid a rescinded offer.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Must be able to start peripheral IV access lines.
• Must be able to perform injection procedures including manual unit doses and dose delivery systems such as Medrad Intego.
• Must be able to process all PET/CT imaging including axial fusion processing and Myeloma Kidney Standard Cut and Coronal Cut.
• Must be able to perform quality assurance on PET cameras for X-ray, PET, and monthly constancy.
• Must be able to perform QC on dose calibrators (Intego, AtomLab 500) and wipe counter.

Required Credentials:

• Completion of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology Program.

Unit Details:

• Performs PET imaging for patients of all ages.
• Administers contrast agents and radiopharmaceuticals under radiologist guidance.
• Uses camera and processing workstations, medical charting systems, PACS, RIS, NMIS, MIM, and Syngo.

Shift & Scheduling:

• Mon-Fri.
• No call.
• Must be available to work more than 8-hour days as the schedule requires.
