Additional Details:
You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience with mechanical circulatory support required.
- Q4 thermal dilution/FICK cardiac output monitoring.
- Management of advanced/critically ill heart failure.
Required Credentials:
- Pass/fail tele test at orientation with 1 attempt.
Unit Details:
- Adult and geriatric patient population.
- Cardiac surgery ICU, vascular surgery, cardiac medicine, advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support (IABP, impella, ecmo, durable VAD).
- 70% of the population has one of the following: IABP, impella, ecmo, durable VAD, swan, CVVH, tandem heart.
Shift & Scheduling:
- Every other weekend/holiday.
Floating Requirements:
- Will be required to float to other adult ICUs, as needed.
