Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: 2 years experience; however, will consider 18 months of experience, working under the highest level of professional license, and must have 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty.

Required Credentials: Associate degree in nursing required. No temp licenses accepted. All RNs are required to complete a Cardiac Exam during onboarding. RNs are allowed two attempts and must achieve a minimum score of 80% to pass prior to clearance. ICU and ED RNs will also be required to take an on-site test in addition to the online pre-test.

Unit Details: Rehabilitation patients include stroke, hip fracture, and pulmonary populations focused on improved functional ability and independence. Patients continue to receive hospital care and close medical supervision while participating in the rehab program. Patients receive 24-hour medical monitoring and care by a physiatrist, nurse practitioners/physician assistants, and rehab nurses. Providers round daily during the patient's stay. Uses body weight support systems, treadmills, a Dynavision machine, and a simulation vehicle.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Holidays as required. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals.
